Located in one of the lovely, original old cottages in Cowra at 20 Vaux Street, Learn2Communicate is situated within convenient walking distance to both schools and shops. We have three spacious clinic rooms, easy parking and a wide front verandah to invite our clients and their families who visit us at our Cowra clinic. Staffed with 2 speech pathologists, 2 allied health assistants and an office manager; we look forward to meeting you soon!

Karen

Principal Speech Pathologist

Karen Trengove (B.App.Sc.Speech Pathology. Hons) is a highly experienced Speech Pathologist who has specialised in working with young children since 1994. She has worked in a variety of settings including education, early intervention, hospitals, community health and private practice in both metropolitan and rural NSW.Karen is passionate about ensuring that all children have the opportunity to develop effective communication skills as learning to communicate is the most important skill we will develop in our lifetime. Karen has received a Speech Pathology Australia award for her dedication to clinical education of student speech pathologists.

Sarah

Speech Pathologist

Sarah has a Bachelor of Health Science (Speech Pathology) and joined Learn2Communicate in 2018 after first gaining valuable experience in a rural multidisciplinary early intervention centre in her early post graduate years. Sarah was born and raised in Cowra NSW and has developed special interests in school aged language and learning disabilities. Sarah is based in our Cowra location and supports and supervises our Allied Health Assistants whilst also managing her own caseload.

Tracey

Allied Health Assistants

Tracey is one of our terrific Allied Health Assistants in Cowra. Tracey lives in Grenfell with her farmer husband and has 3 grown adult children (4 if you count Bonnie her black Labrador!). After marrying and starting a family, Tracey became involved in the Grenfell Preschool and ended up working in the preschool, eventually as an early childhood teacher on the mobile preschool service for 20 years. Tracey was also involved in Playgroup NSW, and worked at Grenfell Public School & Caragabal Public School supporting children with additional needs.

Chloe

Allied Health Assistant

Chloe has lived and worked in Cowra her entire life. She has a Diploma in Children's Services and worked as part of the Cowra Early Childhood Mobile Service team for 10 years prior to joining Learn2Communicate as an Allied Health Assistant

Natalie

Practice Manager

Nat has worked to support children with additional needs for many years as a School Learning Support Officer. Prior to moving from Penrith to Cowra with her family for a tree change in 2013, Nat worked as a School Administrative Officer. She brings knowledge and skills from each of her previous roles to her position as Learn2Communicate Practice Manger – Cowra.
